一、基本情况

陈动,副教授,博士生导师,测绘工程系主任,中国遥感应用协会建设工程遥感分会专家委员,国际数字地球学会中国国家委员会激光雷达专委会委员,中国地理信息产业协会(实景三维城市工作委员会、实景三维技术创新工作委员会、地理信息安全技术工作委员会和就业指导工作委员会)委员,江苏省测绘地理信息学会(学术工作委员会、教育工作委员会)委员,IEEE及IEEE 地球科学与遥感学会会员,国际SCI检索期刊IEEE J-STARS、Remote Sensing、Sensors专栏编辑。2013年于北京师范大学遥感科学国家重点实验室获“地图学与地理信息系统”博士学位,此后任职于双一流学科建设高校南京林业大学测绘工程系,期间在国家公派博士后项目的支持下于加拿大卡尔加里大学(Universityof Calgary)地球空间信息工程系开展了为期两年的博士后研究。近年来一直从事“遥感影像/点云识别与理解”方面的基础研究工作。主持国家自然科学基金3项,江苏省自然科学基金面上项目1项。以核心骨干身份参与加拿大创新基金(CFI)1项,国家自然科学基金3项,江苏省自然科学基金青年基金1项,江苏省地方标准制订项目1项。目前在国际遥感科学主流学术期刊以第一作者和合作者的身份发表SCI检索论文53篇,发表学报级EI检索论文3篇,发表CSCD检索论文5篇。授权国家发明专利21件。2018年获美国摄影测量与遥感学会Talbert Abrams二等奖,2019年和2020获江苏省测绘地理信息学会江苏省测绘地理信息科技进步二等奖和三等奖各一项,2021年入选江苏省“青蓝工程”优秀青年骨干教师,2022年入选江苏省科技副总。

Dr. Dong Chen is an AssociateProfessor, Ph.D. supervisor, and director of the department of GeomaticsEngineering. He serves as an expert committee member of the Remote Sensing forConstruction Engineering branch of the China Association for Remote SensingApplications and as a member of the LiDAR Committee of the Chinese National Committeefor the International Society for Digital Earth. Additionally, he is acommittee member of the China Association for Geospatial Industry and Sciences(3D Real-Scene City Working Committee, 3D Real-Scene Technology InnovationWorking Committee, Geographic Information Security Technology WorkingCommittee, and Employment Guidance Working Committee) and the Jiangsu Societyfor Geodesy Photogrammetry and Cartography (Academic Working Committee andEducation Working Committee). He is also a member of IEEE and the IEEEGeoscience and Remote Sensing Society and serves as a guest editor forinternational SCI-indexed journals such as IEEE J-STARS, Remote Sensing, andSensors.

In 2013, he obtained aPh.D. in Cartography and Geographic Information Systems from the State KeyLaboratory of Remote Sensing Science at Beijing Normal University. Hesubsequently joined the Department of Geomatics Engineering at Nanjing ForestryUniversity (NJFU). During his tenure at NJFU, he conducted two years ofpostdoctoral research in the Department of Geomatics Engineering at theUniversity of Calgary, Canada, supported by a national postdoctoral fellowship.

His research focuses onthe fundamental study of Remote Sensing Image and Point Cloud Recognition aswell as Interpretation. He has led three National Natural Science Foundationprojects and one Jiangsu Provincial Natural Science Foundation project. As acore member, he has participated in a Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI)project, three National Natural Science Foundation projects, one Jiangsu YouthScience Foundation project, and one Jiangsu provincial local standard.

To date, he has published53 SCI-indexed papers in leading international journals as either the firstauthor or co-author, along with three EI-indexed journal papers and fiveCSCD-indexed papers. He holds 21 authorized national invention patents.

Dr. Chen has receivedseveral prestigious awards, including the Talbert Abrams Award from theAmerican Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing in 2018, the JiangsuProvincial Surveying and Geoinformation Science and Technology Progress Award(second and third prizes in 2019 and 2020, respectively), recognition as anExcellent Young Teacher under Jiangsu Province's "Qinglan Project" in2021, and selection as a Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology DeputyDirector in 2022.
