本人从事的主要研究方向的特点、意义及其水平:

1 桥梁检测、评估及加固技术;研究检测评估的理论和方法、研究结构劣化的机理、桥梁结构的时变可靠度分、基于寿命周期成本的维修策略优化分析等,新一代桥梁管理系统的理论与开发应用。

2 桥梁结构施工控制理论和方法;研究结构健康监测理论与方法,施工过程时变力学过程分析与监测。桥梁施工临时设备的开发与应用,研究挂蓝、起重设备的安全性设计与实验技术等。
